The partners of the East Central Vermont Economic Development District (ECVEDD), including SRDC, recently completed work on the 5-year Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for the 40 towns of the ECVEDD.

We appreciate everyone who provided input and feedback which helped strengthen the goals and strategies within the CEDS Plan.  While the most critical function of the CEDS is to provide an economic development framework, it also serves as a required vehicle through which some federal agencies (especially the EDA) evaluate requests for grant assistance. An EDA-approved CEDS is required for entities in the region to be eligible for EDA funding.

The ECVEDD’s CEDS is revised every 5 years. The 2025-2030 CEDS plan is here.
