Accomplishments

SRDC has been successful in attracting new  companies and helping existing companies     expand in our Region.  36 Precision Drive (N. Springfield) , Black River Produce (N. Springfield), and VT Hardwoods (Chester).  More recently SRDC helped with the expansion of the North Springfield Industrial Park including expansions at:  Acrylic Design, Lucas Industries, Kiosko and Jeld-Wen.

SRDC purchased an 88,000 square foot facility on Clinton Street in 1996 and renovated it into a multi-tenant industrial facility.  It was named the Robert S. Jones Center and currently hou- ses 3 businesses, fully occupied.  In addition to the Robert S. Jones Center, SRDC purchased the  former Jones and Lamson Plant 1 facility.  SRDC plans to redevelop this property for future business usage.
